Drawing is what I have been doing all my life, in addition to photography. Ever since I was big enough to hold a pencil, I have loved to draw. My father came home from work with construction drawings to be thrown away, where I got to use the backs to draw on. (Maybe that's why I ended up as an engineer?)

 

Pencil, pen, ink, felt-tip pen and eventually charcoal and pastel chalk are what I use when I draw. Charcoal and pastel chalk are in a way painting while drawing, and is for me a nice transition between drawing and painting. Pencil and pen are so nice that I can take it with me everywhere, so I nearly always do.
