After I finished summer school we went out to explore Scotland again 😊 Saturday morning we took off in direction of Dundee. On our way we made some detours that Tore-guide had found in his research before we left Norway.
We started with Fallkirk Wheel - what an amazing construction!!!

The only rotating canal lock in the world 😃 really facinating to see.
The canalboats were packed with people and the temerature really high, so we choose to just watch it in action.
Afterwards we drove further north. We had planned for a stop in The japaneese garden, but they were full, so we just had an icecream in the outside garden before going on further. Our next stop was the Scottish lavender farm.

Amazing beds of flowers, and we got to buy some oils

Look at that colour! And imagine the lovely scent 🥰

Finally that day we arrived at Dundee and the Landmark hotel. We jumped in the pool there and afterwards we enjoyed their lovely garden before dinner. At the end of the garden there was a little gate in to what looked like a secret garden, and there we found this chair, seemingly waiting for someone to come and sit.

More about the trip further tomorrow 😊
