Wedensday we painted Aines daughter, Lily. She is used to modelling since childhood 😊 but it's difficult to paint young and beutiful, so this was the day I struggled the most. I found I made her look too mature.

It's incredible warm in Scotland these days, som the end of the days became very hectic and sweatty 😅
Day 4 we painted Helena, we painted her last year also. Then she had a big hat on, wich was an exciting chalenge. This year she was only beautiful and very nice 😊

She plays in two bands, here is link to what she does:
Here is Helena and Aine in front of mine and some of the other paintings

The room was decorated with lovely sunflowers, and you can see part of the lovely garden in the background.

After class Wednesday me and Tore went to Musselburgh to eat mussels like last year + amazing ice-cream at Lucas. After we sat by the riverside, and I tried to paint landscape. So far my skills in landscape are better at photographs than painting, so here is a photo 😅

One afternoon we went to Fallkirk and Culross, crossing over on one of the amazing modern bridges

Culross is a cozy little village in witch much of the old buildings are preserved. It's said that the village was founded in year 500, and in the middle age it was the center of mining in Scotland.

We had a lovely dinner here at a cozy inn, Red Lion

Tomorrow I will write about last day at summer school 😊
