Tomorrow is the big day - the portrait class I have been looking forward to since Tore gave it to me for Christmas.
Yesterday and today I have taken photos of different motives I might use to paint landscapes and cityscapes.
England played semifinal this evening, so the pub was crowded where we ate. Much more peace and quiet in the harbor.
Dramatic sky and nice colours in the harbor is inspiring. D
Today we took the train to Edinburgh. We visited the National Gallery and the Portrait Gallery. Overwhelming much inspiration to find here!
We had a walk around the city too, both before and after a lovely dinner at Makars Mash Bar.
Great motives to find in those narrow streets called "Close" and in alleys.
We also ran in to some friends with wings
Before taking the train back to our cozy Bed & Breakfast, Anchorage, I found a nice motive in the trainstation in Edinburgh.
Now my bag is packed with all my painting stuff, and I am sooo looking forward to my class tomorrow!!!
