It has been a while since last blog, this late summer and early summer has been quite busy.
But I have made time for some art even though. Amongst others I made this portrait, acrylic on canvas, where I first covered the canvas with curled up newspaper.
I have also been working on some commission works, nice to have this kind of work in addition to other.
Some fun projects is needed too, and I have one in progress now. I'm covering a huge paper with drawings of musicians, this will be a backdrop to the main motif. I will draw or paint a dancer on top of it. It takes some time, because it's just now and then I have time to work on it. Here is a video of it so far:
Last week I started working on the next musician:
I'm looking forward to continue!
I've bought a lamp to clip on my easle, with daylight. This was a smart investment, it will prolong the working hours a lot.
At work it's quite busy, but also fun. I have been, and will, travel a lot. Much to learn, new work-connections and useful updates. So I'm flying Widereoe a few times this autumn and winter.
I hope the rest of the trips this autumn/winter will have as nice weather as this!
In addition to all this the work on my house continues. The plan is to celebrate Christmas there, so I have quite a lot of walls to paint before that.
The bathroom is getting close to finished. Me and my brother finished this wall last weekend.
I have chosen wallpaper for one of the walls in the bedroom, I think this will look nice. Now I just hope it turns out that I am good at doing that job 🤞😁
This weekend we spent with cousins with family in Bergen 🥰 we had a great time! Yesterday we went to a consert with Brit Floyd in Grieghallen. Amazing!
Both the music and the lightshow👌
Pink Floyd is one of my favourites, and this english cover-band was really impressive!
I'm finishing this blog with a moody picture from a misty morning in Holmedal
And a beautiful sunrise from my way to work one morning
