Portraitclass in Cockenzie - day two

Today we are painting our second model, Leonie 😊 we get to use approximately 4 hours on each portrait. Today I felt it being a bit easier. vi bruker ca 4 timer effektiv maling på hvert portrett. I dag syns eg det gikk litt bedre.

Yesterday we paintet Pete, and go to practice man with beard

Today it was beautiful woman we got to try, Leonie. Both have been challenging, each in their own way. I publish here two pictures from the process, and the the final result.

unaccustomed painting from a live model, and the distance to the model is quite long.

This (above) is how far I got till lunchtime. Below is the result at the end of the day, after four hours painting. Tomorrow we will have a new model, and I am excited to see who and how that will be.

Tore went for a "mountain"-walk on Berwick Law at the coast east of Cockenzie, before the rain sat in.

Now we have genuine westcoast of Norway- weather, and we go wet on our way to the restaurant where we had dinner, Seaglass.

I find these busses have nice colours 😊

We had a quick stroll down to the harbor tonight to see it in low tide. Now we will relax in our room at our Bed & Breakfast, Anchorage, charging before tomorrows exciting challenge.
