Roadtrip i Skottland - dag tre og fire

We left our cozy lodge early and went på Inverness to have our breakfast there. After a walkabout in the city we got back on the road heading southwest towards Loch Ness. We drove on the eastside of the Loch to our next sleepover, Fort Augustus. Sadly we didn't see any sea monsters, except for loads of them in the souvenir-shops.

Tore had found another lovely place for us to sleep, Inch Hotel, near Fort Augustus. We checked in and then walked to the "town"-center, looked at the locks and ate ice-cream 😎

Loch Ness was just there, beautiful scenery. Maybe we will have to go for a canalboat-holiday next year

We had a lovely dinner at the hotel this evening 🥰

After breakfast we proceeded on our road trip. Here is an attempt of a selfie in the car 😁😁

We were lucky and had to queue up by a lock where some sailboats were passing. I find this fun to watch, and now I had time to make movies and thake picture of it.

We missed the Harry Potter train because of this, but we were not that sad about it. When we drove up there, there were a crazy amount of tourists, so we believe we didn't miss much. This was probably a nicer view

On our journey further we came across a castle on a little island in the fjord. Here we had a break, went for a walk, ate some cake and had tea.

The Scottish roads are not better than the roads of west-Norway, and there is a lot to see. This bridge was quite a view

We had a stop by st. Conans kirk, built in the 1880, but it looks medieval

The architect probably had a sense of humor, I have never seen a guardian-rabbit on a church before 😂 it must be a killer-rabbit

But, the church was really a nice one

We found some inspirational colours today too

And some fun art

Now we are ready for dinner at the hotel 😊 tonight we are sleeping in Crianlarich
